Every shift you work - and even those you sign up for but don't work - affect your Reliability Score.
Your Reliability Score is vital to being selected for shifts and earning higher pay - it's up to you to make sure it is correct!
Here's what you need to know.
Attendance and Punctuality.
If you are late for a shift, or if you leave early without approval, your Shift Score will be docked. If you have any issues clocking in on the app, it is your responsibility to contact the Switch on-call number and report the issue. An Account Manager may contact the Facility to verify that you were in fact working when you said you were.
Cancellations
When you submit a bid for a shift, you are making a commitment to work that shift. As soon as a Facility confirms your bid, you are now contractually obligated to fulfill that shift. Switch takes Cancellations very seriously. If you cancel a shift with less than 24 hours notice, your Reliability Score will be negatively impacted. And the closer you get to the shift start time, the more severe the penalty.
When you cancel a shift, you may be required to provide documentation, such as a doctor's note, proof of an accident such as an accident report, or proof of bereavement.
Read the Switch Cancellation Policy here.
If you believe your Reliability Score is incorrect, here's what you need to do.
Contact a Switch Account Manager.
If you were working a shift, but unable to clock-in, you need to need to contact an Account Manager as soon as possible. You will be asked to provide proof from the Facility that you were in fact there when you reported.
Submit an Appeal:
If you believe a cancellation, time card, or DNR from a facility is incorrect, you may submit an appeal to appeals@switchcare.com. You will need to state your case and provide evidence that supports your claims.
