What happens if I am out of compliance?

Understand how keeping your compliance current is important and keeps you working.

Overview

Credentialing is a complex process that involves various factors. Once you have fulfilled all the necessary requirements, our dedicated Compliance team at Switch takes charge of reviewing your documentation and conducting a comprehensive background check. This meticulous process ensures that you meet all the eligibility criteria for your certification in the state you have specified.

In order to participate in bidding for shifts on the Switch platform, it is crucial that you maintain compliance. We understand that managing your credentials can be overwhelming, which is why we provide continuous monitoring of all your credentials. We keep a close eye on any upcoming expirations and will notify you well in advance, usually with a minimum of 30 days' notice, if there are any items that require your attention. This could include renewing your TB test, for example.

If you are out of Compliance

Failure to update or renew the necessary documents will result in a loss of compliance, and your status will be changed to "pending." While in this status, you will no longer be able to view or bid on shifts. However, you will still have access to other features on our user-friendly app, allowing you to stay connected and engaged with the Switch community.

At Switch, we prioritize your compliance to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in the healthcare industry. We strive to make the credentialing process as seamless as possible, and our team is here to support you every step of the way.
