Like my grandfather used to say, "if you're not early, you're late."
Punctuality Matters.
You are expected to be on time for every shift - and on time means being early. This means you may clock-in up to 15 minutes before the scheduled start of your shift.
If you are late, your Reliability Score begins to decrease, with more points being deducted the later you are. For instance, if you are 10 minutes late, the penalty might be a few points. But if you are 60 minutes late, the penalty is severe.
Therefore, be on time by planning to be early.
Every shift is an opportunity to either improve your Reliability Score, or hurt it. Being late will bring your score down.
Reliability Matters.
When you commit to a shift, you are making a commitment to the facility. If you cancel your shift, you are impacting numerous people - from the residents at the facility, to the other staff and agency workers, and to the people behind the scenes working to ensure every shift is covered.
Cancellations hurt your Reliability Score the most.
