Why Can't I see Shifts?

If you can't see shifts, it likely means you're not currently Verified. Read on to learn more.

So, you're signed in to the Switch app, but you can't see shifts. We understand this can be confusing and/or frustrating.

Shifts Blurred Out

There are three main situations in which you may only be able to partially see shifts in the Switch app:

1. Onboarding but not Verified

When you first download the app and go through the onboarding process, you will be in a "Pending" status. Once you have completed all the necessary requirements, your status will change to "Completed." During both of these stages, you will be able to see shift cards, but the details will be blurred out.

2. Verified but out of Compliance

If you become out of compliance, such as having an expired document like a TB test without uploading a new one, your status will automatically revert back to "Pending." Until you fulfill the necessary requirements, you will be unable to view shifts.

3. Suspended from the Platform

Suspensions can occur due to attendance issues or other performance-related problems. While you are suspended, you can still use the app, but shift details will be blurred out, and you will not be able to bid on shifts until after your suspension period.

No Shifts Available

If none of the above scenarios above apply to you, there are a few less common reasons on why you can't see shifts.

1. Incorrect search criteria

When using the Switch app, you have the option to customize your search criteria to find the shifts that best suit your needs. However, it's important to make sure your search criteria is accurate. If you set your search radius too small or select certifications that are not available, it may result in no shifts being displayed. Double-check your search settings to ensure you are seeing the shifts that are available in your area.

2. There are no shifts in your area

If there are currently no shifts available in your area, don't worry. Switch is constantly working to bring in new opportunities for you. We understand that this can be frustrating, but we ask for your patience and encourage you to check back regularly. As soon as a new facility opens up in your area, you will receive a notification.
